@MargieArnett is an Interprofessional Education Specialist and the founder of GiddyupGenie.com. She coordinates large interprofessional events at University of Arizona Health Sciences such as: Patient Safety, Pandemic Flu, Disabilities, Team Behaviors, Drug Survival, Obesity, and the CLARION competition. Her research interests are in interprofessional education, diversity in healthcare, social media in health education and tobacco dependence education.

She was a principal investigator of a number of research projects including the Pipeline, Profession & Practice grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. She has received a number of awards for her volunteer work, including Citizen of Achievement from the League of Women’s Voters, and Woman of Distinction from the CA State Senate & Assembly.
