Jenifer Van Deusen’s areas of academic interest include the transformation of medical education, educational leadership and the creation of collaborative culture. During her long career, Jen has been a public school teacher, a consultant with a state department of education, a program director in an educational consulting firm, the curriculum director in a school district, the education and accreditation specialist in a Family Medicine residency, the Director of Curriculum at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and currently serves as Clinical Faculty educating rising physicians about IPE and substance use disorders. Her background includes successful curriculum reform; technological solutions that support high-quality learning, teaching and assessment; large-scale professional development; and, grant writing. Jenifer holds a B.S. in Education from Lesley University, a Master’s in Education from the University of Southern Maine, and earned thirty-three additional graduate credits in language acquisition and curriculum design.
