Intend Health Strategies is a clinician-led national nonprofit organization committed to catalyzing culture change in healthcare. Each year, Intend Health supports healthcare professionals and students across the country by providing experiences which build leadership skills, enhance team effectiveness, increase psychological safety, and improve provider well-being.

The cornerstone of this work is Relational Leadership, an evidence-based healthcare teaming framework which emphasizes emotional intelligence, a strengths-based orientation to others, and the establishment of psychological safety on teams. Relational Leadership offers a powerful complement to traditional quality improvement and transformation efforts, building on growing evidence that healthcare teams and organizations which prioritize cultural and relational dynamics are more effective in achieving their tactical goals.
