Hi!  I lead SmithGroup's healthcare design studio in San Francisco. I've specialized in strategic planning and healthcare design for 20 years.  My passion lies in creating the most intelligent and appropriate designs to meet the healthcare industry’s evolving needs and aspirations.  Academic medicine  and creating environments that support the growth of the next generation of caregivers is a particular interest of mine, especially since it gives me opportunities to engage with a whole new set of innovators in teaching and learning!
