As a nursing leader, I am passionate about health quality, patient family centred care and empowering direct care providers to take a proactive, innovative approach towards caring. My nursing background resides predominantly in Emergency Nursing where I spent the first five years of my career working in an academic organization affiliated with McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.  I enjoy expanding the boundaries of healthcare and challenging the status quo by examining other industries and exploring how techniques and strategies can be integrated in an ever evolving healthcare system
