I'm a graduate of Bastyr University (Seattle, WA, class of 1992, ND, LAc) and Harvard University (Cambridge, MA, class of 1978, AB) and have been practicing preventive, whole-person, family medicine in Juneau Alaska for 20 years. I'm also involved with policy and advocacy for the homeless, for food security and for advancing freedom of choice in healthcare in Alaska. These are all uphill battles, but I'm not giving up! In my free time I prepare delicious nutritious meals for my family and occasionally for local soup kitchens, and enjoy continuing education, yoga, jogging, hiking and writing about health.
