Michigan Health Council partnered with state government, higher education institutions, and care delivery organizations to promote team care beginning in 2012. The partnership generated close to $3 million for pilots in Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Flint.
ACEMAPP is a interprofessional clinical education system managed by the Council. In six years, over 6,000 students and 900 faculty have been certified for rotations. Ohio, Oregon, and Indiana customized the system to meet their needs.
Education to Practice enhances the quality of ACEMAPP rotations by allowing users to build their own interprofessional experiences by quickly researching what works and connecting with experts.
