Dr. Sears has accumulated almost 28 years experience in a wide range of areas, including Engineering, Management, Psychology, Neuropsychology, Research, Education, Teaching, and Training inter alia and has held many top positions, including Planning Manager, Operations Director, Production Manager, Chief Consultant, Professor, Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Director, University President, Consultant: Psychology, Psychiatry, Neurology, and Neuropsychiatry inter alia. Apart from other academic and professional qualifications (including HNC, BSc, MSc, MBA and DBA), he holds a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) Degree, a Postdoctorate in Neuropsychology (NPSYP), and the Postdoctoral Master of Psychopharmacology Program (MPP).

He completed 3,638 Clinical Hours (Residency) with the highly prestigious PSCH Clinic in New York (2006-2009) and gained a reputation for being a highly competent and capable clinician with great clinical skills; for successfully treating patients with mild to severe cognitive impairments, including those with complicated psychiatric disorders as well a violent tendencies; for providing the most creative and effective service interventions to his patients; for developing exceptional therapeutic relationships with his patients; for providing exceptional consultation to professional and paraprofessional staff and family members; and for establishing great respect among his colleagues, patients, family members, and the community at large.

In addition, he holds highly prestigious qualifications in specialist areas and subspecialties (2009-2014) such as Psychiatry and Psychopharmacology, Neuropsychiatry, Medical Psychology, Behavioral Medicine, Behavioral and Mental Disorders, Neurology/Neurological Science, Pain Management, Pulmonary Medicine, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Disability Evaluation/Analysis, conferred by highly reputable Medical Schools, Medical Associations, and Subspecialties Membership recognized by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS).

Dr. Sears was granted the prestigious honor and privilege of being selected, by the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), to be among ~ 150 Neurologists to attend Capitol Hill for three consecutive years (2013, 2014, and 2015). 

Dr. Sears is the Director/Consultant of the International Center for Mental, Neurological, and Chronic Disorders, LLC (Virginia and Florida); and President/Master Academic Clinician-Educator of the American Academy of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences (Washington DC).

He is also the Co-Presenter/Keynote Speaker for The Apprentice Doctor Camps for the past 5 years (2011-2015); and Member, International Premier Speakers and Trainers Bureau. His inimitable style of teaching combines personal and professional experiences over the years, perspectives of both patient and clinician, and array of rich experiences with practitioners, lay persons, patients, and as a professor.

With his very wide background, being broadly trained across several disciplines, specialist areas and subspecialties, and a great capacity for explaining principles and procedures through analogy, metaphor, humor and human interest, he has earned a well-deserved reputation as an outstanding and excellent Teacher and Master Academic Clinician-Educator.
