Cynthia Booth Lord, MHS, PA-C, is a primary care PA at the Lake County Free Clinic.  Ms. Lord has spent much of her career working in both primary care and academia and has been a PA educator for over thirty years. Most recently, she served as an associate professor in the Center for Medical Education and faculty member in the Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine.  She was the founding director and associate professor of the Case Western Reserve University PA Program (2015-2022) and a founding faculty member and PA program director at Quinnipiac University PA Program (1994-2014).  She received her PA certificate from the Yale University School of Medicine and her Master of Health Science from Quinnipiac University.  Her career is distinguished by numerous awards for excellence in teaching, service and leadership roles. She has served as president and chairman of the board for AAPA and Chair of the nccPA Health Foundation Board of Directors.  Ms. Lord has held numerous leadership roles on state and national advisory boards.  She is currently serving as the vice-president of the Lake County Free Clinic Board of Directors.  Ms. Lord has been involved in IPE for many years and was a founding member of the Quinnipiac University health professions IPE leadership team.  While at CWRU she was a member of the CWRU IPE leadership team, helping develop the interprofessional curriculum for health professions students.  She taught in the Collaborative Practice I (CP 1) course for over 500 health professions students (medical, dental, nursing, PA, social work, speech language pathology, clinical psychology).  The CP 1 course focuses on the development of teamwork skills and having students work in teams to complete a project with a local community agency.  Ms. Lord is a passionate champion for integration of oral health in education and practice and is the CIPCOH 100 Million Mouths Campaign Ohio Oral Health Champion. She also sits on the board of Oral Health Ohio.  Ms. Lord works at the local, state, and national levels as a speaker and advocate for oral health, including ongoing work with the National Interprofessional Initiative in Oral Health (NIIOH) and the PA Oral Health Advisory Committee.
