Angela Rosenberg, DrPH, PT, BCC
Angela is a leadership consultant who earned her Master’s in Public Health and her Doctorate in Leadership Development at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. For the past 25 years, Angela has worked with public and private organizations, health care systems, universities, and individuals in the areas of strategic planning, leadership development, and personal goal setting and attainment.
Dr. Rosenberg’s success as an organizational development consultant placed her in the spotlight in 2012 when she received National recognition as a recipient of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Health Professional Hall of Fame for her work in developing MS STEP UP ( www.msstepup.org ), a nationally recognized model to train Physical Therapy graduate students as leaders and specialists in the treatment of neurological diseases. Further, she was selected as the lead consultant for a The Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Maternal and Child Health to guide organizational leadership development for teams from over 15 Universities, hospitals and rehabilitation centers from across the United States.
Angela is fluent in English and Spanish and also has working language skills in French and Arabic. She has the proven capacity to conduct leadership training across diverse cultures; having gained expertise originally in the Peace Corps, Morocco, N Africa, as a Physical Therapist and later through professional consultation and leadership development work with diverse organizations such as Veterans for Peace, Partners of the Americas, and Operation Smile in Africa, South America, and the United States. Through this work she has designed and delivered strategic plans, team-building workshops, and change strategies for diverse clients in health, human services, and education and government sectors.
As a Retired Associate Professor and Training Director at the University of North Carolina, adjunct Professor at Ithaca College and current Adjunct Faculty member with the University of Arizona, Angela continues to conduct and publish her research on leadership development and systems change, and delivers numerous presentations to professional organizations across the U.S. and abroad. Recent local and national clients include: UNC Health Care Systems, North Carolina State University, Duke University, the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and Novartis, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Federal Bureau of Maternal and Child Health, The University of Arizona, the Medical University of South Carolina and the National MS Society.
