I graduated with a BA in Interior Design accompanied by a business administration minor from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 2010. I was actively involved as a board member in our ASID and IES student organizations, completed a 4-month design internship abroad in London and worked as a faculty assistant to the design professors throughout my 4 years at UWSP.
I am currently enrolled in the College of Design's graduate program at the University of Minnesota, working to complete my Master's degree in Design. My interest lie in the mesh of design thinking + healthcare design. I am particularly interested in understanding the experience of nursing staff within patient-centered care healthcare environments.
In tandem with a Master's degree, I am working to complete the University of Minnesota's Health Care Design and Innovation Post-Baccalaureate Certificate. This certificate prepares health care and design practitioners to create optimal healing spaces using design thinking and whole systems leadership.
