Video

This video serves as a practical guide for health professionals looking to apply IPECP principles in their own practice, offering real-world examples of collaboration, communication, and role-sharing to enhance patient care.

In this video, two 4th-year occupational therapy students from South Africa showcase the power of interprofessional education and collaborative practice (IPECP) through a therapy session with a client with cerebral palsy at a care and training center in the Eersterust community of Pretoria. The students are joined by two physiotherapy students, with input from a social worker. They work together and implement two core competencies of IPECP , namely "Roles and Responsibilities" and "Interprofessional Communication."

Through the video, the students highlight how the core competencies are applied practically, and explain how each profession contributes their expertise to improve the client's outcomes.
