Samuel Theesfeld, MN, RN created this toolkit with advisement from Teresa McCarthy, MD, and Kristine M.C. Talley, PhD, CNP, RN. Mr. Theesfeld is a PhD student at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing with clinical experience in the acute care of older adults recovering from stroke and other neurologic conditions. Dr. McCarthy is an Associate Professor in the department of Family Medicine and Community Health and geriatrician. Dr. Talley is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing, a fellow of the Gerontological Society of America, and a distinguished educator in gerontological nursing.
This toolkit contains two components: a Learner Module and a compendium of Teaching and Learning Resources.
