This presentation (59:20 minutes) by Amy Goyer discusses how to manage the financial impacts of caregiving. Objectives: (1) describe 3-5 financial challenges/impacts that family caregivers face; (2) describe 3-5 signs that a loved one needs help managing their finances; (3) describe 3-5 programs and benefits their loved ones may be eligible for which could increase their income and offset caregiving expenses; (4) describe 3-5 options for caregivers to adjust their work situation while caregiving; and (5) name 5-8 resources available to help family caregivers manage the financial aspects of caregiving.
