This lecture (1:09:34 minutes) given by Gina Kang and Gina Kim discusses how to care for a diverse older adult population, specifically focusing on racial and ethnic diversity. By the end of this lecture, learners should be able to: (1) identify common challenges and barriers to providing care for a diverse older adult population; (2) describe the association of social determinants of health and health outcomes for this population; and (3) discuss strategies and tools that may be utilized to address these barriers in the primary care setting.
