This activity created by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is designed to educate healthcare providers with current information on age-friendly healthcare. The target audience includes all healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists and allied health professionals who would like to learn about age-friendly healthcare. By the end of this activity, learners should be able to: (1) Define Age-Friendly Healthcare from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement; (2) Describe the 4Ms Framework used for the care of older adults; and (3) Review case studies from GWEPs across the U.S. Continuing education credits are available upon completion.
