Nexus Innovation Challenge - Coaching Team

The Nexus Innovation Challenge is offered through a partnership between the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education, SmithGroup, a nationally recognized design and architecture firm providing Design Thinking expertise, and the National Collaborative for Improving the Clinical Learning Environment, providing expertise and mentorship on optimizing the interprofessional clinical learning environment. The coaching team supporting this unique learning experience includes diverse representatives affiliated with the three organizations.  

NCICLE is a collaborative of 38 organizations committed to improving the quality of learning and care in the clinical learning environment. NCICLE’s report, “Achieving the Optimal Interprofessional Clinical Learning Environment” centers the Nexus Innovation Challenge in the context of interprofessional practice and education. SmithGroup, the Nexus Innovation Challenge training partner, is well known nationally for their agile responses to diverse challenges using design. At the Nexus Summit 2019, they partnered with the National Center to host the inaugural Innovation Challenge, sparking practical solutions for teams that continue to resonate impact.
