Workshop #15:Boost Relational Capacity with Appreciative Inquiry
Presenters:
Donna S. Havens & Susan O. Wood
Topic:
Getting to Know Each Other
Promoting Teamwork, Patient Safety & Quality Improvement in IPE
Overview:
We will lead an interactive workshop, starting with paired interviews. Pairs will join pairs to form sixes where they will “make meaning” of conversations. A whole group synthesis done by creating graphic murals is next. Once they reflect on the experience, we will do a briefing on cases and how AI works. Lastly, small groups (in their own projects) will discuss how to apply the principles and processes of Appreciative Inquiry to the benefit of their project. Q&A to conclude and usually there’s lots of Q!
There will be lots of energy and interest, and it will inspire future conversations applications and results.
