Topics covered include: 1) prioritizing non-pharmacological/behavioral management to behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD), 2) key components of behavioral management; 3) implementing the DICE approach and ABCs of behavior management during a clinical visit; 4) understanding and conveying limits of pharmacological interventions for BPSD; and 5) the process and realistic expectations of combining pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions for behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia.
