Resource Type:
Video

These short video snippets capture patients and/or family members describing their experiences with health care services representing a range of specialty care. The first series illustrates the negative impact when care providers are not communicating with each other to coordinate care. The second video series describe the positive impact of interprofessional collaborative practice where professionals are communicating and collaborating to optimize care. The videos provide a compelling case for collaborative care teams and are an effective resource for introducing learners to interprofessional education and collaborative practice.

Negative Experiences That Could Have Been Improved with Interprofessional Collaborative Practice

Interviewees describe their frustrations resulting from ineffective interprofessional collaboration—or complete lack thereof.

Positive Experiences with Interprofessional Collaborative Practice
