This report is intended to be read by many different people concerned with issues surrounding LGBTQ aging. It presents data obtained through a survey. Differences or comparisons that are statistically significant are noted in the report. The purposes of this study were to: 1) gather data directly from lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) older adults about their experiences aging; 2) raise the visibility of aging within the LGBTQ community; 3) stimulate individual LGBTQ community members to think about and prepare for aging; and 4) inform policy makers and service providers as they prepare for the coming swell of older adults.
