This presentation (59:49 minutes) by Aida Wen discusses how to manage a dementia behavior crisis. By the end of the presentation, learners should be able to: (1) know how to recognize delirium; (2) know how to recognize psychosis; (3) be able to describe behaviors accurately; (4) consider possible underlying causes; (5) assess for other triggers; (6) learn basic tools of crisis intervention; and (7) try helpful communication approaches.
