By the end of the presentation, learners should be able to: (1) describe music therapy and its benefits for older adults; (2) describe different types of music therapy; and (3) describe different uses for music therapy in adults such as aiding in behavioral problems for those with dementia, gait impairment for patients with Parkinson's disease, and providing comfort for those under hospice and palliative care.
