In this webinar (1:01:42 minutes) given by interprofessional geriatric experts, Drs. Ji Yoo, Jason Flatt, and Aaron Ritter, Gloria Mandel, NP, and Ceci De Asis, RN, discuss dementia care during COVID-19. By the end of this lecture, learners should be able to: (1) learn public health priority of dementia in COVID-19 pandemics; (2) understand COVID-19 prevention and care tips for demented persons and caregivers; (3) learn to solve caregiver burdens and long-term care plans for demented patients; and (4) identify home health strategies when caring for patients with dementia and other comorbidities.
