This presentation (1:03:30 minutes) given by Alberto Enrique Varela discusses oral health conditions in older adults and how to recognize them. He reviews some specific conditions that are seen in older adults and gives the oral health perspective of the conditions to give some ideas how to collaborate with others on these cases to improve clinical outcomes. The conditions that are discussed in this presentation are xerostomia, radiation caries, osteoradionecrosis, medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw, and periodontal disease.
