Over the past 6 weeks, the requests to the National Center are unprecedented as we are receiving many emails, requests to nexusipe.org, and texts. This outreach to us is resulting in frank and profound conversations about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic response and the impact on interprofessional collaboration and our health and education systems in the United States. These discussions with our colleagues in higher and interprofessional education, health care practice, public health, government, and corporate partners are profoundly insightful. We invite you to join us to learn together.
From what we are learning, we firmly believe that the path forward is through our collective wisdom for impact. As IPE champions, you are invited you to join us for leadership conversations to share insights, experiences and ideas on pressing topics, provocative conversations and planning for the future. Based upon our experiences and what we are learning, I assure you that these conversations are inspirational as people are open and honest about what they are experiencing and their hopes and dreams. Today the National Center launched the Critical Events of IPE resource page to encourage you to document your experiences in real-time. Last week Laura Pejsa, the National Center Director of Evaluation and Organizational Learning, and I held a webinar “Building a Stronger IPE Program Together: Document What You Are Learning Today” on leveraging IPE Knowledge Generation using big data approaches and developmental evaluation during a humanitarian crisis.
