Tenth Annual Emswiller Interprofessional Symposium
Adapting and Advancing: IPE in a Post-Pandemic World
Saturday, February 5, 2022.
Online for hybrid participation and in-person at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond, VA.*
While COVID-19 did not allow us to gather in person last year, the virtual format of the 2021 symposium allowed participation beyond our event’s typical regional group and brought valuable diversity to the content. Assuming that public health conditions allow, we plan to hold a place-based symposium in Richmond, Virginia, on Saturday, February 5, 2022. *We will make a final decision about our ability to host in-person participants in early November, 2021.
In order to embody the theme for this event and accommodate the broader group who participated virtually in 2021, we will offer opportunities to participate remotely for those who are unable to travel.
The Emswiller Interprofessional Symposium is proud to be an American Interprofessional Health Collaborative (AIHC) Affiliate Conference. As the professional community of the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education, AIHC contributes to better health and improved outcomes by redesigning how the health care workforce is prepared and how care is organized and delivered. AIHC members work locally, nationally and internationally to influence policy, develop and share best practices and resources, conduct research, mentor and support colleagues and remove barriers to effective action. AIHC is open to individuals who are interested in transforming health in the United States through interprofessional collaboration.
