In the past few months, there has been a lot of need to get support to the Indian Health Service, in new and innovative ways. One opportunity coming up in case you didn’t see this yet, the Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information has been posted. The link to the notice is as follows: https://beta.sam.gov/opp/a8c76946dcc44788a9778c400c19b1f3/view.

You will see that specifically, IHS is encouraging universities and other organizations to submit information. You will also see that the IHS is also open to having Third year Pulmonary Fellows as well.

If there are entities who may be able to service IHS federal and/or tribal hospitals, you may want to make sure see this RFI, please share. In addition to onsite direct patient care, there is clinical education need as well as a need for provider-to-provider case management (virtual/telephone) task. Entities don’t have to service all the locations, but they can let us know where they can staff a mobile critical care response team on short notice.

Brendon Moran, Brendon.Moran@ihs.gov is the Contract Specialist for this requirement, where questions or the response can be emailed.
