Fatma Uslu Sahan completed her BSN at the Ankara University, Turkey and her MSN and PhD at the Hacettepe University, Turkey. Currently, she is a research assistant in Hacettepe University, Faculty of Nursing, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing. Before she became a research assistant, she worked as clinical nurse (gynecologic oncology clinic_nine months and labour clinic_one year) at Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Women's Health Research and Education Hospital, Turkey. She was a visiting scholar at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing, Alabama, United States (June 2015- October, 2015) and studied about palliative care and ınterprofessional simulation based team training with clinical simulation. Her area of interests are gynecologic oncology, palliative care in gynecologic oncology, palliative care nursing and simulation-based nursing education and interprofessional education. She is member of Turkish Nurses Association, Turkish Oncology Nursing Society (studies in Palliative Care Nursing Subgroup and Gynecologic Oncology Nursing Subgroup), Turkish Women's Health Nursing Association and Palliative Care Network.
