I started my corea as a register Nurse and specialized to public health. In Finland PHN:es work in preventive clinics from pregnancy and childhood until to the old age. Health promotion is the main topic.

I made my first master degree in Nursing sciences and in health care education at the University of Oulu, Faculty of medicine. Since 1994 I have worked as a university lecturer at the Oulu University of Applied Sciences. I made the second master in educatiol sciences (educational technology) 2007. My doctoral thesis is on the way. The topic is about developing interprofessional education during undergraduate medical and health care studies.

My work today concist beside of teaching working in the reseach & development projects with partners of education and practice in national and and international levels. I'm the member of the executiver offices of EIPEN (The European Interprofessional Practice and Education Network) and NIPNET (Nordig interprofessional education network).
