Valentina Brashers, M.D., FACP, FNAP is Professor Emerita at the University of Virginia. She was the founder of the UVA Center for Academic Strategic Partnerships for Interprofessional Research and Education (Center for ASPIRE), which provides leadership and oversight to numerous interprofessional activities for students, clinicians, and faculty. Dr. Brashers is known nationally for her scholarship in the area of interprofessional education and collaborative care. She has served as a co–principal investigator for numerous intra- and extramural interprofessional education grants and serves as a consultant, editor, and presenter in many educational, clinical, and policy settings.
