Denisé Dews is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social Work. Miss Dews came into academia with 16 years of social work practice experience in public child welfare, healthcare, and aging. She currently teaches in the concentration MSW curriculum: aging, death & dying, and integrated health; as well as, works with MSW students in field settings. Miss Dews is a member three campus-wide interprofessional education efforts: Geriatric Interdisciplinary IPE, Carolina Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program, and Health Affairs IPE Steering Committee.
