Living our Nexus Vision: New Opportunities in a New Academic Year
As summer comes to a close, I find myself increasingly excited about the upcoming academic year and new possibilities to work together to achieve the National Center vision of bringing practice and education together simultaneously (The Nexus) to improve learning and health outcomes. Over the past year we have further codified that vision in the NexusIPE™ Learning Model. Deeply informed by theory and practical experience, the NexusIPE™ Learning Model synthesizes the approach and tools that have emerged from over a decade of experience with partners from across and beyond the USA, in health and community care settings, and spanning the continuum of health professions education and continuing professional development.
We are excited to share new learning experiences we’ve created in recent months that build on this work. I invite you to explore these opportunities to become part of individual or team-based communities designed to support interprofessional leadership development anchored in real-world situations.
