    Help: Linking to a File Stored on the Internet

    There are two options for contributing to the Resource Exchange, uploading a file to the National Center's secure servers for storage or linking to a file that is already stored elsewhere on the Internet.

    Before linking to a file, make sure that it is publicly accessible to other people on the Internet, both from a legal and functional aspect.

    1. On the Contribute to the Resource Exchange page, ignore the File Upload section and instead scroll down to the External Web Link (alternate option to uploading a file) section.
    2. Paste your URL in the Web URL text box.
