Description: This annual award is given to a faculty member for outstanding mentorship of students and/or peers in interprofessional education and/or practice. Nominations for this award may come from a student, faculty member, and administrator or be a self-nomination.
Eligibility: AIHC member in good standing for at least the past two years.
Selection Criteria: Please include evidence of the following:
- Demonstration of serving as a role model of interprofessional collaboration
- Provides interprofessional education experiences to their mentee(s) to develop and advance the mentee’s understanding of interprofessional collaboration.
- Encourages mentee to participate in interprofessional networking activities
- Provides feedback to mentee regarding their performance using the IPEC core competencies as a framework (Values and Ethics, Roles and Responsibilities, Interprofessional Communication, Team and Teamwork)
