Difficult Conversations in Healthcare: Teaching and Practice in an Interprofessional World is a 1-day interprofessional faculty development course that offers the opportunity to learn about innovative concepts, methods and strategies for enhancing and teaching interprofessional teamwork, collaboration and practice; relational and communication skills; attention to values and ‘everyday ethics’; and professionalism.
The course has an interprofessional focus, and offers CME, Risk Management credits, and MOC points for Physicians, and Continuing Education Credits for Psychologists, Social Workers, Nurses, Physician Assistants, and Pharmacists.
Taught by faculty of the Institute for Professionalism & Ethical Practice, Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
