Director of Interprofessional Education Program

Job summary:

Develops and coordinates implementation of Interprofessional Education programming for the University.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Individuals must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

  1. Knowledgeable of the IPE literature
  2. Able to design didactic, experiential and clinical education programming
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to address a diverse population. Ability to effectively interact with administration, faculty, staff, and students.
  4. Ability to write technical and non-technical reports in clear language that can be understood by all.
  5. Strong academic skills.
  6. Excellent computer skills in order to set up document formats in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and any other software program required by this position.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Education: Terminal degree in a graduate level health professional.
  2. Experience: 7 years experience in a related field. In addition, previous experience in an academic health center setting working in a clinician team.
