National Center Webinar Fundamentals of IPECP Measurement- Webinar 1
This webinar is designed for practitioners (educators, clinicians, administrators) who are relatively new to the tasks of assessing individual trainees in IPECP competencies, assessing IPCP team performance, or evaluating educational programs designed to improve IPECP. It serves as a companion to the NC’s primer, “Assessment and Evaluation in Interprofessional Practice and Education: What Should I Consider When Selecting a Measurement Tool?” by Connie C. Schmitz and Michael Cullen. The primer lays out three criteria involved with tool selection: relevance, validity, and feasibility.
Promoting a culture of health through multi-sector engagement and leadership
This webinar focuses on identifying how the social determinants of health (SDH) impact aging well and how the scope of the changing population will affect future healthcare workforce needs. The three presenters highlight specific interprofessional education and practice (IPE) initiatives where they are engaging seniors as partners in the team with community connections, enhancing community-based partnerships with healthcare organizations, and changing the paradigm of health by utilizing resources in the community to enhance wellness.
