This handout discusses HIPPA regulations and what they say about how and when clinicians can share the health information of older adults with their caregivers and family members. It gives examples of different types of cases such as straight forward cases or cases requiring professional judgement when complying with HIPPA regulations.

Disaster Planning Toolkit for People Living with Dementia
This toolkit is written to help people living with dementia, their family members, and their caregivers understand what to expect in the event of a disaster and how to prepare for it. The toolkit includes tip sheets and checklists covering topics such as planning for a disaster, important contacts, emergency supplies checklist, my medical conditions and care needs, and disaster planning tips for people living alone with dementia.
