Helping Veterans with Memories of their Military Experience at the End of Life During COVID-19: Advice from a Rural Perspective
This handout developed by the New England Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center discusses how the COVID-19 pandemic may cause some veterans to think more about their previous military experience and how to cope with this. It also discusses how PTSD plays into this. Finally, it offers tips for outside family members or friends as to how to help these veterans navigate through the pandemic. Links to PTSD resources and Vietnam veteran resources are provided.
