Nebraska Health Information Initiative (NEHII) Population Health Endowed Chair and Executive Director, Center for Interprofessio

The NEHII endowed chair and executive director will provide vision and leadership for population health research and interprofessional practice and education. The endowed chair position is strategically placed in the Center for Interprofessional Practice, Education, and Research as this Center serves the university as it crosses all schools and colleges. This center is fully staffed and runs an effective and efficient portfolio of interprofessional education activities aligned with health professions accreditation requirements. A central focus for this leader will be on developing and supporting the research agenda for population health through partnering with NEHII to advance healthcare in Nebraska. The Chair will work directly with the Chief Academic Program Officer of NEHII to establish an annual research agenda. The Chair will serve on the Board of the Nebraska Healthcare Collaborative, a division of NEHII. She/he will work closely with the health science schools and colleges leadership across the Omaha and Phoenix campuses, especially the Chair of the Department of Clinical Research and the leadership in population health at CHI Health, in building vision and leadership in the area of population health and ensuring that the work of CIPER will continue to flourish as a national leader in IPECP.
